Sim Racing Expo 2017

Meet Heusinkveld at the SimRacing Expo

For the 3rd year in a row Heusinkveld will be present as an exhibitor at the Sim Racing Expo, held over the weekend of September 16th and 17th at the Nürburgring in Germany. Located directly behind the main grandstand of the Nürburgring circuit,  the event is a perfect opportunity to combine simracing with viewing top class GT racing as the final round of the Blancpain Sprint Series races on the track in the same weekend.

During the weekend we’ll have 2 simulators available for product testing. We’ll also bring a new Heusinkveld product to the Expo. All visitors are welcome to test our equipment, we will be present both Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm.

New product: H-Shifter (Prototype)

We’re pleased to annouce that we will show a new product at the SimRacing Expo: On one of our simulators you can test our new H-shifter system. Time was extremely tight to get it ready in time (the sensor board inside is literally hand-made board #1) and we’re throwing it into the deep end at the Expo. So, please bear with us if it’s having issues during the weekend.

Since it is a prototype, some changes can be expected for the final product:

  • The final version will have all electronics integrated inside the shifter.
  • There may be minor changes to the size of the base unit and the mounting system.
  • There may be changes to the material finish.
  • There may be minor changes to the mechanical feel of the shifter.

The release date is not set yet, but we’re near the end of the development cycle.

Press runs

We’ll bring two simulators to the SimRacing Expo on which you can test our full product portfolio. If you are a member of the press (websites, magazines, TV shows, weblogs, vlogs etc.) and you want to reserve a dedicated time slot in order to make a test-run, please send an email to info@heusinkveld.com in order to make an appointment.
