Douglas started karting at the age of 7 and in his second year of competing he won his first national title. In years after this he continued moving up the karting ladder winning several races and podiums on both international and national level. He then started working as a paid professional driver in karting after winning the last race of the KZ2 European Championship in 2014 and becoming Vice-European Champion over the total year.
In 2018 Douglas made the switch to car racing, quicly becoming a podium finisher in he French GT championship. He is using a set of Sim Pedals Ultimate to prepare for his racing duties and be as ready as possible.
