After racing karts and Formula Ford, Frank Biela entered the Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM) in the late eighties, taking the 1991 title in an Audi V8 Quattro Evo. More success followed in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) where he took the 1996 title and also finished runner-up in the 1997 championship.
Frank made his first Le Mans 24h start in 1999, resulting in a no less than 5 overall Le Mans Victories driving the Audi R8 and Audi R10 TDI. Other successes in sportscars include 4 victories in the Sebring 12hrs.
Nowadays Frank is heavily involved in simracing: with Biela Racing he runs his own Esports team. On his home simulator Frank has run several Heusinkveld products. He started out with a set of Sim Pedals Pro and has now switched to a new set of Sim Pedals Sprint.
