For all of you who are looking forward to the announced Ultimate Upgrade Kit for the classic Sim Pedals Ultimate – today is your day! We are happy to inform you that the Upgrade Kit is now available in our webshop.
First of all – for which pedal set can the Ultimate Upgrade Kit be used?
All Sim Pedals Ultimate purchased from early 2014 onwards (fitted with RJ-plugs on the pedal cables) are compatible with this Upgrade Kit. If you own a set of Sim Pedals Ultimate with screw terminals on the controller (late 2013 – early 2014), please contact Heusinkveld support first.
You do not need this upgrade kit if you have bought the Sim Pedals Ultimate+.
The Upgrade Kit is not compatible with Sim Pedals Pro or Sim Pedals Sprint.
What parts are included in the Upgrade Kit?
With this Ultimate Upgrade Kit you get the main technical enhancements as seen on the new Sim Pedals Ultimate+. Key components are:
For a full overview of all included parts, make sure to check the overview on the shop page. Please be aware there will remain minor aesthetical and technical differences after upgrading your classic Sim Pedals Ultimate compared to the new Sim Pedals Ultimate+.
Printed information about the correct assembly of the individual components is also included with the Upgrade Kit. Alternatively you can install them step by step together with Remco in this tutorial video.
What about the price?
The price of the Upgrade Kit is as follows.
For EU-customers: appr. 119 EUR incl. VAT + shipping.
For non-EU customers : 98,35 EUR + shipping.
A note for Sim Pedals Pro owners
We understand you may be disappointed that there is no upgrade for Sim Pedals Pro. The reason why we are able to make an Ultimate Upgrade Kit is because the included hardware parts plus the electronics and software are directly compatible with the new Sim Pedals Ultimate+. The last Sim Pedals Pro were sold in 2018 and we are no longer doing any development on this product. You can of course count on us for many years to come with regard to regular spare parts.
